How to reach your happiness peak?

You become so self-consumed with life and everything around you, your definition of happiness and relaxation becomes vague, ambiguous and unclear. It starts becoming a shadow and you start losing yourself to life and the world. All of a sudden your happiness starts becoming dependent on people…people who you take a risk on because sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not.

You start to realize that maybe it is all about give and take. When they want you or need something from you they will not hesitate to call, flatter you or be nice, yet when you cry out your plea of help, it doesn’t seem like you are getting as much as you wanted in return.  I am not saying you should not have people around you by all means surround yourself with family and friends who love you, cherish you, treat you like the kings and queen that you are. But do not get caught up depending on people for your happiness all the time… do not lose out ; do not make your state of tranquility and happiness one of the hardest things to define in your life.

You have to treat YOU with the same love and respect you would treat a lover or a good friend. We are so tired and stressed out most of the time we forget about the small things. When I say “small” things I mean these little moments in our day where we feel a bit at ease or relaxed. I have so many small things I like; drinking coffee or tea on the balcony, feeling the hot sun on my bare skin (for like a minute because we all know how hot it gets), and well eating.

These little moments are taken for granted ok let’s face it, they are not exactly winning the lottery and a free hedonist yacht, but they are little moments that relax you for a moment during your hectic day. We are always running around, sleep deprived, eyes glazed our minds occupied we simply forget to indulge in the small pleasures of life…and then we start losing our purpose…our hope…our dreams (Maybe not to that extent but I like to over dramatize things).

You see dear people; you must take those breaks, these moments to yourself. It’s good for your health it’s good for you and your mood. It is good for the economy also if we want to take it that far, because when you are happy and relaxed you are most likely more productive hence more beneficial to society.

You have to have that little thing that makes you, you again. That little thing that brings you in touch with yourself and reality, it is a moment of safety, of security of warmth only you can provide for yourself…look if you have to dance around in circles all day and laugh at yourself every time you stub your toe or elbow do it. Your happiness and serenity is as important as work, making money, being a doctor or an engineer or whatever else is “important” to society….in my view even more important.
